| One of my older bros, Tony(25) got married on saturday!!! It's about time. one down, three more to go haha. I played the prelude on the keys and that went much better than I thought it would. The ceremony was beautiful and I will put some pics up as soon as I get them...The reception was a dif story hehe. After Tony and Janette had their first dance, the dance floor was open to anyone who wanted to get down with they badselfs ha. Anyway a ton of people went out and started dancing and I was standing near it talking with Kevin and a friend when all of a sudden this guy who looked like he could be around 50, with glasses, came out of nowhere up to us all shakin and doin his lil jig and said to me, 'Whaddup?'. I know alot of people say that to say hey or whatever but he looked like the most unlikely person to say it which made me start laughin. I was like, 'who you??'. He was like, 'dance with me.' at which moment kevin and derrick walked away leaving me standing there trying to find a polite way to make my way away from him haha. So I looked behind me. Lo and behold one of my dads friends, Mr.Brown was sitting there so i stepped back and asked him to dance with me and save me from the ugly man haha. He did, for which i am eternally grateful. No more than 20 minutes later a slow song came on and so a bunch of couples went to the dance floor. I was standing on the side watching when out the corner of my eye, who should come shaking around to me but the guy with the glasses!!! ahhhh!! I have no idea why he was still shakin all around on a slow song. He seemed to be confused.He was about six feet away so i figured i had enough time to get the dj to help me out because Mr. Brown was with his woman ha. So I motioned and mouthed to him that I had nobody to dance with and I really wanted to on the slow song. He came running over just in time and so I danced with the dj. After that I went and talked with some friends. Close to an hour later I was walking past the dance floor and who should i see see, but the man in the blue shirt and glasses!! Before I could get away to a safe place or find Mr. Brown he caught me!! and said...'You ran away from me! come on, am i really that bad??' ....as i couldn't think of anything to say i shrugged my shoulders and made small talk until i saw a friend and then i told him...'i gotta go talk to my friend really quick, haven't seen her in forever and she's going back to michigan tonight'...haha thanks to Leah, it was the perfect getaway plan!! I thought that would be the last of it but I was gravely mistaken. When we were finally leaving the hotel at around 11pm, i was sitting in a chair putting my shoes back on. There were probably like 20 people left and the dj's. All of a sudden I looked up and there was the man, still shaking around...(to a slow song again mind you) and he didn't say anything this time. He only did that "I'm watching you. I see you, you see me" motion with his fingers haha. When we finally left i said "thankyou Jesus for keeping me from dancing with him! It would've been the most awkward and strange looking dance of all time" haha....What a mighty God we serve lol. Next post I'll type about what happened when we got home! haha....and no the man wasn't waiting for me on our porch (I know thats what some of ya'll were thinking lol) layta

| ...I took the bus to and from the wedding that i talked about in my last post. Usually I have some random and insane stories and I'm gonna tell you one haha...brace yourself. My bus home was to leave at 10:45am from Traverse City, MI and get home at 3:30am the next day..(which really has nothing to do with the story, dont know why i wrote that but oh well). Grace had to drop me off a lil after 9 cuz she had to go to work. It's a small bus station..and when i got there it was only one other person waiting for the bus. So I sat by the window in a chair, put my feet up on my suitcase, held my pillow, turned on my cd player and was jammin. Around 10:15, in walks this guy who looks kinda like the granpa type. Graying hair, cane and the walk haha. So he sits across from me and starts talkin to me. First thang i was like 'oh no he dint jus mess up ma flow!' cuz i was jammin! haha...anyway...i turned off the cd player and we started havin a nice conversation about the weather, the nice beaches, how long my bus ride was, and cincinnati. What freiked me out was all of a sudden outta nowhere he said,..'cincinnati huh? yea i been thinkin about comin down there one a these days.....like ta take you out ta dinner sometime.' and gave a cheesy aka yellow toothed grin to complete the effect. I tried not to laugh as I had to bust his bubble and tell him there wasn't anyway it would work out because first of all he was way too old. He said ok and kept talking about the weather and such things about how his bus left the next day but he was there at the station to check on his ticket or sumthin like that. Then he said bye and left. I thanked God that was the end of it and turned the cd player back on. But I was wrong. As soon as I started jammin again he knocked on the window i was sitting next to and told me to take out my earbuds which i did but still couldnt hear what he was saying so he came inside and said,...'you seem like such a sweet girl i'd like to talk to you again sometime. Can I get your number??'....and as the song goes,..'i said noooo no! noooo no no no, i said nooooo no! you're not the one for me!' haha jk.....but i said no and that i didnt give that out. (For some reason i couldnt think of a better comeback like the rejection hotline until later in the day haa). So he insisted that I take his down. I was gonna put a fake number in my phone and delete it layta only he watched the screen to make sure i put the right number in there. Then he said...'can't wait to hear from ya, call me when you get home! bye!' and hobbled on out the door with his cane. That was the last I saw or heard from 50something yr old Robert. lol. Of course I never called him. But that was the worst one. On my first bus on the way there I knew it was gonna be a long ride when this one guy told the person that I was sitting next to in the beginning that I was his girlfriend, pregnant, and didn't like to be away from him for long just so he could sit next to me! For 3 or 4 hrs!!! waaaaa! He'd make a good stalker......Layta peoples. This has been another episode from, The Life of Angie. ~angie~ | | |
| It's been waaaay to long since i been on here. I've been out of town alot and theres just been a ton goin on. Anyways, this past weekend i was in Traverse City michigan, thats one of the most beautiful spots I've been to!! I was the maid of honor in Sarah DeSeno's wedding..some of ya'll know her. It was a outside wedding by the beach but not on it...it was the perfect day though. if it had been the next day that wouldda been to hot, It was pretty sweet, they went off in a boat. Crazy how I ended up getting there. The original plan was that mom and us girls would drive up there for it but then moms car started actin up. So the only option left was taking the bus which was leaving 1:45am on thursday and gettin there at like 8:30pm! I didnt have the money til the night before so mom told her pastor about it and they took a donation for me at bible study and i got twice as much as what i needed. Thank God!....layta | | |
